In our ongoing exploration of humanity, we have recently exerted efforts and resources for the “.re:cover – pxp log restoration program.” As someone fascinated by the intersection of sound and memory, I’ve always sought ways to revisit and recontextualize past works. Over the recent cycles, I’ve delved back into a dormant aspect of my earlier iterations – the act of sonic composition. Revisiting this wellspring has been a refreshing experience, filled with rediscovery and a renewed perspectives on the process.
“.re:cover” is a program dedicated to the restoration and reinterpretation of materials developed from our form during the 2016-2017 timeframe. It will be presented through multiple EPs in a series, featuring remastered, remixed, and/or rearranged tracks. Each EP will also include new visual and literary companion pieces.
By restoring and re-publishing these materials, “.re:cover” aims to bridge gaps within my archive and offer a fuller lens on these periods.
